Im upgrading my pc and im getting a new mobo, cpu, ram, does that mean i need to repurchase a windows product key even though i keep my hard drive?

If its OEM key, prebuilt PC, you will need a new key. If you bought Win 10 retail, you juste have to renter the same key.

Try it first, sometimes it might work depending on Microsoft.
