Hi all I just got done putting together a new X99 build and hour ago. The problem is when I turn it on the bios or nothing comes up on the screen. Just black. No beeps or anything. All the fans, CPU cooler and video card lights up but I have nothing on monitor. I have the following installed

5930k
MSI X99S SLI krait edition motherboard
16gb(4x4) gskill ddr4 3000 ram
2 980ti
Two Samsung evo ssds in raid 0
Corsair 100i CPU cooler
Evga 850 g2 psu

I had a silverstone 1000w PSU installed at first. But the system would not turn on period. It was working fine yesterday. So I took it out and put the Evga 850 in and now it turns on but won't post to bios. I've tried pulling ram and trying 1 or 2 at a time. I've taken out one of the video cards and tried each seperately. None of that has worked. Have triple checked cables and connections. Do you all have any ideas? Is it bad board or is something wrong with my Evga psu too? Be some really damn bad luck to have two bad psu's in one day? CPU problem? Any ideas would be appreciated.

try messing with the H100i cables. Get rid of the corsair link cable. That was a problem for me. IF that fails, then remove CPU and put back in. IF that doesnt work, then reset CMOS (MAKE SURE PC IS OFF). IF nothing works, then you likely have a bad board. RMA that. 🙁

Did you remove Corsair link and make sure your cpu water block pump is plugged into the CPU fan header (NOT JUST ANY FAN HEADER 😉

Then try clearing the CMOS. Then try taking everything apart once more. Put it back together (yes, I know this all takes forever, but it saves time in the end if we are lucky!)
If it does not work still, we likely have a dead board.

If the board is for sure dead at that point, give Asrock a call and let them know what happened. Tell them that you have done everything from reseating all the components, etc. Tell them you would like to RMA asap.

Yes I've done everything you suggested. Still same result. I'm not taking everything out and reinstalling. I've unplugged every sata cable and peripheral with the same result. Not even a beep. I'll just rma the board

Sorry man, that's a disappointment. Call up ASrock and begin the RMA process. Best of luck!

When I RMA'd my first board, I simply called up (in this case GIGABYTE) and told them my board was shot. They guided me through an online process to print an address and send it with the board to the factory. They then took like a week or two to ship a new one back. I would try dealing with Asrock first.
