New xbox 360 controller for PC not working on games it worked on before

It installed with no problems and works fine on other games likeTomb Raider. But will not work onRainbow 6 Vegas 2 games any more. I have reinstalled the games and used different usb slots this has got me baffled.

does the game have xbox controller support? also make sure that the controller is plugged in before you load up the game. finally do you have the microsoft xbox driver?

The game does have xbox controller support and yes I do you have the microsoft xbox driver. I will reload the game with the controller plugged in. Thank's.
