that's great and all but I have a feeling that i'll be holding onto my xbox 360 for a while, seeing as there will be a nice some of games that I play on the 360 that prob will never be compatible with the xbox one console, since some of those game developers either went out of business, while other game developers simply won't choose to make their 360 game compatible with the xbox one seeing as backwards compatibility support will be left up to the game developers.

If it were like Nintendo where I could simply just stick my disc in and it just works, great, but that is not the case. It will download a ported copy and require me to put in my disc to play. I think I will be holding on to my 360.

We have truly gone for full circle.

First we want Xbox to be more PC like. M$ gave it an x86 cpu and it will even run Windows 10.

Now we cry because of poor backwards compatibility as if we didnt know it would happen when we asked for an x86 cpu.

As if PC does not have backwards compatibility issues. Some of my favorite old games will not run on Windows 7 +. I have to resort to using a VM and hoping that the graphics pass through will work fine or build an old school machine. Thats just how it is when tech evolves.

Backwards compatibility should have been a Day One feature. Seems like they are finally righting that ship. Next step should be hardware backwards compatibility. It's so stupid they want you to buy controllers all over again. It's also give 360 users zero reason to say with M$ if they have to buy all the hardware all over again.

The processor in the console is nowhere near powerful enough to emulate the xbox 360, it's just not going to happen
