New Zalman VF2000 cooler LED fan stops functioning

Hello, I recently installed a Zalman VF2000 cooler on my ATI Radeon HD 4850 video card, and the LED fan on the cooler only seems to operate/come on the few seconds after I boot my PC. It then will cease spinning and LED will go out. This is consistent each boot. I checked connections so I am at a loss. The PC and all other components seem to be working fine.

The fan is probably turning off because it's not needed - graphics cards don't run full-tilt all the time, so then they only get hot when they work.

Open up Catalyst or some program to see how hot your GPU is running at and then put a game on (or GPU benchmark like 3D Mark) and see what happens to the fan and temperatures.
