Newb question. Does my motherboard support wifi or do I need ethernet cable?

Hey guys, so Im waiting for my parts for my first build to come in and Im just making sure Im covering all my bases. This may be a stupid question but Im just tryin to see if my motherboard will be good to go out of the box, with no wireless adapters, usbs etc. or if I shoud just use an ethernet cable run into the wall. My house is setup for wireless connection btw. Would really appreciate the help, thanks!

ok ,thanks. Do you think the best option then would be to buy a wireless adapter or usb? Or i guess I could just use a good old ethernet cable, Id prefer the wifi route though.

Are you planning to use your PC for gaming at all? I really recommend a wired connection for stability. Wi-Fi is a lot more sketchy when it comes to connection stability. With that said I just moved and wired isn't an option for me. Someone recommended a couple of different cards for me. See this thread.

Speed, security, reliability points to hardwired ethernet. But yes, you can use a PCI-e or USB WiFi adapter.

Thanks guys. And yes ncasolo I'm building this pc primarily for gaming. So it seems like you guys are saying the hardwire route would be the best way to go. That seems easier than installing that adapter as well, so I think that might be my best option. Thanks again for the quick answers!

Honestly the adapter took me less than 3 minutes to unpackage and install. It isn't difficult, but wired is better if it is a convenient option.
