Alright guys, I've never been huge into PC games besides Diablo II and Counter-Strike 1.6 (not graphic-intensive whatsoever), so I'm not quite sure if I've picked out all the right stuff I'll need. Currently I'm using a HP Pavilion Elite from many years ago, not a gaming PC at all and it's just something that's been in the family. So this will be my first gaming build ever! Thanks in advance.

Approximate Purchase Date: Sometime this week, or whenever I find a good build.
Budget Range: $600 (not including video card)(already have a SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6870 card)

System Usage from Most to Least Important:
-- Gaming (Arma II, Arma III, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Diablo III
-- Recording Games (I want to be able to record high-quality gameplay videos and upload them to YouTube)
-- Photoshop (I design logos, signatures, etc.)
-- Internet Browsing, Word Processing, etc.

And the video card I am going to use (already have it, can't return, so I have to use it) is a SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6870.

Not sure I agree re the CPU, but that's down to the OP to decide...the 3470 would do the job.

I'd also get a beefier PSU, something in the 600W range, for running a gaming system. Agree with the recommended brands above.

Okay I switched to a Seagate HDD instead of the WD Black, saving me about $20, and I also switched to a Corsair PSU instead of Cooler Master however I did not go all the way to 600W, I heard from multiple people that my card didn't need that much and that it would actually be detrimental??

The 3470 is a great CPU. Basically as good as the 3570k at stock speeds.
Coolermaster makes crap PSUs. Get a 500w unit from Antec, XFX, Corsair, Seasonic.
If you get a non k series CPU. Grt an h77 motherboard.
