I just downloaded CPU-Z and checked everything out ... In the memory tab it says Channels # and it says Single? Isnt it to be Dual?

I have Crucial Ballistix PC6400. I havent even changed the voltage to 2.2 yet because im such a n00b

I'm so new to all of this performance hardware stuff and i really would like to overclock to at least 3.6 with my E8400, but im afraid i dont have enough knowledge to risk even trying.

If you have only one stick of RAM. IT's normal. If you have two sticks of RAM, then you may need to reinsert them both in the correct slots so it goes into dual channel mode.

Anyway, in general gaming performance, you wouldn't notice the difference between single and dual channel mode anyway.
