I am a complete newbie with overclocking, haven't overclocked a single chip in my life...however, I would like to start. The new(ish) Pentium Dual Core E5300 CPU from Intel is apparently quite a good overclocker and stable with that. I was planning on building a system using an E5300 for a complete rebuild of my home's PCs. Does anyone know a decent clock to OC this chip to? How about the FSB? I was planning on putting it on a GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3L Board.
You can see the board here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128372
The CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116074&Tpk=E5300
Any advice would be nice. I am planning on doing a moderate overlclock, nothing too damaging. Thanks.
Thanks.
