Hi, I'm just wondering what levels your characters are at what days. My
main game (Imperial, general combat-type) is about level 35, and I think
it's around day 90. Is this much slower than normal?

That's actually pretty fast.

My drugged out strongman (or woman actually) is level 17 though has 96
points towards the next level. You may or may not have figured out by
now that it's not always a good idea to level whenever you can...

Chiefly to make sure you DO get the 5x effects.

I sure wish there was somewhere you could buy DAMAGED weapons to turn
your hammers loose on!

I'd forgotten that one - I did Bloodmoon at level 11 but was rather
embarassed not to be able to do the final Castle at more than minimum
difficulty.

Fighters' guild yes - I'm not aware there's anything inter-necine
coming up with the Imperial Legion except for the fact that the top
spot in the Legion is determined by a duel to the death.

The Thieves Guild doesn't like the Camonna Tong (which you can't join
anyway) and the Morag Tong doesn't like the Dark Brotherhood but other
than rivalries within House Telvanni I don't know anything that gets
lethal except that to become Redoran guildmaster you have to duel the
incumbent.

There's a mid-level quest involving solving a murder involving
Ordinators as victims where 5 people have been killed. Due to a
foul-up when rescuing the Legionaire from the Ordinators and getting
him to Ebonheart I managed to get the Ordinators against me (yet NOT
getting me kicked out of the Temple!). Since then I must have killed
at least 50-60 Ordinators - several I have killed with one blow - and
if the Temple went nuts about losing 5 of them what must they be
thinking now? (All because of l'il ol' me!)

I know I've done this quest previously without getting on the
Ordinators' bad side but am pretty sure I only did kill the two you
refer to on that occasion.

This is why I hang around here - one learns something new every day!
(or nearly...)

It's also possible (though difficult) to rescue him without personally
killing *any* Ordinators. This method requires you to be good at
Restoration spells, and to have a decent Heal Other made, along with any
buffs you think he could do with. The rest is left as an exercise for
the reader...

Can't you just paralyze the Ordinators and then exit the area with the
guy you're supposed to rescue?

I expect you could. I just did it that way to prove to myself it could
be done without attacking them at all.
