I just finished putting together my i7-920 build and am ready to try my hand at some over clocking of the setup. Here is what I have:

Processor: i7-920 (D0 Stepping)
MOBO: ASROCK X58 Extreme http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157163
Memory: Patriot Viper Tri Channel 6GB PC10666 DDR3 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?Sku=P33-6074
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper N520 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?Sku=C283-1202
Case: Cooler Master CM690 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?Sku=C283-2032
Power Supply: OCZ ModXStream Pro Power Supply - 500-Watt http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?Sku=O261-2016
Video: XFX Radeon HD 4670 Video Card - 1GB GDDR2, PCI Express 2.0 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?Sku=P450-4670

I am not looking to do any form of extreme over clock on this thing - just something around 3.6 or so.

Based on my hardware do you think I have a good chance of achieving a moderate level of over clocking?

Are there profiles that other folks have shared that I can load via the OC DNA application that is provided with this motherboard?

I am pretty much a complete noob at over clocking - looking for specifics for my BIOS and any hints and tips.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

Upping my my IOH to 1.18 allowed me to drop my cpu voltages a lot. I found a nice setup for stability @ 3.36ghz. I am testing 3.78 right now. I made a thread that should show up on the first page of my 3.36ghz stable settings.
