Newegg has recently added UPS to their shipping method and instead of the regular Fedex Saver that they used to use they now use UPS ground.
So I go ahead and order something.
I'm not home during delivery hours so what I normally do is just pick it up after work.
With UPS you can't do that according to Newegg's contract. They will not allow you to pick up your package until they have failed to deliver it 3 times.
So I try to change the delivery address. They won't do that either per Newegg's contract.
So now I won't get my purchase until next week. And then I'll still have to pick it up.
Really lame. The customer service agent at Newegg said they're getting countless complaints and are considering ditching UPS already.
The worst part is I'm 20 minutes from Newegg and it would have been faster if I just went there and picked it up. You can't do that though.
I actually paid them shipping to be aggravated.
