Are you intending to buy purely from newegg? You could stretch your budget a bit if you shopped around. MicroCenter offer deals on MoBo and CPUs, NCIX also have good deals.

Yes, I'm trying to, because I would like the parts to arrive together. Unless newegg ships separately I will be going with newegg. The build on pc partpicker was about 1,150ish with the different stores

Newegg will often ship things together, but you have to pay to make them arrive together (especially the case, it will often ship slower). I highly recommend shopping around, especially amazon/NCIX. Use pcpartpicker, it finds the best deals for you.

Windows 8.1 is better then Windows 7, because it uses less resources than 7 making it easier on you PC and you can put more resources into the game you're playing and Windows 8.1 is just 8 upgraded + Windows 7 is almost 5 years old.

couldnt agree more about windows 8.1 and 8 isnt bad but most compatible with most up to date bios. every system that can properly support windows 8 has at least a few percent better performance in most every scenario.
