Newegg.ca price match

Does Newegg.ca's price match guarantee apply to itself?
I bought MSI R9 390 at newegg.ca at $439 CAD about a week ago. Back then, it was on sale from the original price of $470 or $480 i think. Now it is even on sale more at $409 CAD.

The product has the price math guarantee on it. Since it is with in the 14 day window, the question is does the price match apply to newegg.ca it self?

Hmm I'm not sure, I'll look into it. If anything you could return it and buy a new one(if you get more back then you spend on shipping haha). Since I live so close to newegg's California dept. it's easier for me.

Contact newegg about it, tell them "hey I just bought this and the price dropped within a week"
They should work with you to get that difference back to you, if not, return yours and buy the cheaper one.

I've had something similar happen to me with a hard drive. I ordered it, and the very next day, I got an e-mail promo code for the exact same drive @ $10.00 off. I contacted Newegg and they refunded the $10. In your case, however, I wouldn't expect the funds being returned to you since it's already hit your bank (and probably theirs). You might get something like a Newegg Gift Card in the amount of the price difference.

Either way, it doesn't hurt to ask. Call them up and see what they say!
