If I decide to return my GTX 970 for a refund will they deduct for the Witcher 3 game (that has been activated)?

The invoice shows they charged me 99 cents for the game, so they would just deduct 99 cents, correct?

Hey Newhere2015,

You are correct as you will only be deducted the 99 cents from your refund. We cannot deactivate the code, so the person who you sold it two will not experience any issues.

Yup better confirmed with newegg themselves. I heard there case with AMD card the free games are included with the card price then when people return the card they only get the amount after deducting 3 full game price.

Btw why did you return the card? Faulty?

I sold the code, so I hope they would not deactivate it 🙁

I have not returned it yet. The screen tearing is too distracting. I put back in my GTX 660, although it has lower game settings, there is no tearing. With those same lower settings on the 970, I still get tearing. I tried with some games including GTA V, Watch Dogs and Sniper Elite 3. I tried all the Nvidia settings. GTA V only is using 2400 mb of vram.

I was thinking it was my tv (LG TV 60HZ) I tried on my 60hz 5ms monitor and LG 240hz TV and same thing. I see many other 60fps videos and those look fine, so I do not think it is because of 60hz monitor limit.

I feel like the 970 is worse than the 660 even though it looks better than the 660, if that makes any sense.
