I am having a really hard time claiming a rebate on a motherboard (defective, but Foxconn doesn't reply to my e-mails anymore) I purchased from Newegg last Oct (2006). When I contacted Newegg, they told me that they can't do anything about it because it was handled by the manufacturer (Foxconn). I had to register at myrebates411.com before submitting this rebate. When I checked about this company, I realized that I am not the only one having problems with this (seems to be fraudulent) company (myrebates411.com).
I just wanted to let you all know, take time to read fine prints before buying anything. If you have to deal with myrebates411.com to claim the rebate - STAY AWAY!
I have purchased (directly and indirectly) approx. more than $10,000 worth computer hardware from Newegg (more than 10 complete systems and other parts for family, friends, and work). But as of now, I am done shopping with Newegg.
