They should be in line with 3080 prices. With only 21% more shading units than the 3080 (10496 vs 8704), the 3090 will only have between 10%-15% better gaming performance. Remember that shaders don't scale linearly. These Are an line with 3080 prices. The low end is near FE msrp and to line is welll more salty.
And yeah these will sell like hotcakes! Keep Yours bot ready to get even a change of getting one!
How much faster do you think it'll be?Can't see how this card will run more than 10% faster than 3080 in gaming given the specs. The cost is more than 2x. But we'll see from the benchmarks reveal tomorrow. I hope people don't end up buying it just because 3080 is unavailable, because that would be a waste of money. I've learned my lesson from heavily overpriced 2080 Ti, not going anywhere near this card.

Dang man, that's worst than the 10% people implied. Haha.Given that 3080 has 2x CUDA cores than 2080 ti and is only 33% faster, I'd extrapolate 7% speedup for 3090 which has 21% more CUDA cores than 3080. Note that 3080 also had faster memory than 2080 ti, but 3090 probably has better silicon so I'll stick with the prediction of 7%. I suspect that's why it was marketed as an 8K gaming card (?!), but we'll find out tomorrow.

The 3090 has faster memory than the 3080 as well. Probably looking at 10-15% faster. Leaked benchmarks seem to indicate linear scaling for compute workloads. 3090 is as terrible value compared to the 3080, but it is a great value vs the outgoing Titan RTX. This will be a very popular card in the prosumer market where it can take advantage of the 24GB of RAM or 48GB if using 2 cards.Given that 3080 has 2x CUDA cores than 2080 ti and is only 33% faster, I'd extrapolate 7% speedup for 3090 which has 21% more CUDA cores than 3080. Same was thinking this morning to cancel 3080 and get 3090 but 2080ti is an expensive card and gotten beat by cheaper gpuCan't see how this card will run more than 10% faster than 3080 in gaming given the specs.
