[SOLVED] Newegg open box? Good deal on 5700xt build...

Solution
Prebuilts cut corners on certain parts such as the motherboard, PSU and possibly memory, not a fan of open box system either.

You can build something better (faster memory for better performance) for a similar price. Yes you won't get a active Win10 license nor a cheap K/M combo but these parts are far better quality.

Disregard the error message, the board ships with a updated BIOS.

Thinking about pulling the trigger on that... thoughts on the open box?
The only brand and model info given is the CPU and the case. Everything else is an unknown. Is there 1 ram module or 2? You need to know since single channel memory limits performance to some degree. Is the PSU decent or a cheap one that can barely power the system? Who knows? Is the SSD an m.2 NVME or slower SATA drive? Who knows. I could go on but you get the point. It's a lot of money and you really don't have enough information to make a good decision. If you knew brand and model details for everything in the system it'd be a lot easier to know if you're getting your moneys worth.
