NewEgg refurbished worth it

I was looking at the AOC I2757FH but then I found a refurbished model for $50 less. Is it worth it to take the chance, or should I spend the extra 50 to be sure.

Go with retail , avoid issues.

Spend the extra $50.. you dont want any headache getting a defected board. Also, Warranty is shorter on refurbish products.

Only YOU can determine worth.

I would have no problem with refurbished.
They are usually returns for one reason or another.
It comes with a 90 day warranty.
Most products that fail will do so immediately or within a few days.

In the case of monitors, test for dead pixels in the center of the monitor. If present, they might be the reason for this particular monitor being returned. That is a hassle, so I might pass on this particular unit.

I've bought a lot of refurb products. A monitor probably wouldn't be one.
