Discussion Newegg sent me a used 3090

I bought a gigabye 3090 / mobo combo and received a hour ago

well the gpu is used with dust and grime on the sticky parts of the plastic, sticker broken etc….Now they sold out of the combo..

I also ordered hardware for a whole build around these components… The cpu comes tomorrow from newegg and i read u cannot return cpus….

What should I do?

The unfortunate thing is NewEgg has been a publicly traded company since 2009 and their second largest shareholder is a financial firm (or at least it was)

So basically, they care more about profits than customer retention it seems.

Yea I returned everything, they pretty much screwed me over, made me have 2nd thoughts and now i have a new case and psu…

I almost bought a 3080ti but cancled, its insane, 10% boost for 1k dollars more then the 3080

I wish you the best. I keep hearing bad things about Newegg since they got purchased out and no longer use them as my first option.
