get a mouse too, it helps. newegg? well, get something cheap (a mouse) from there and see for yerself what kind of support they have.

..this is very useful and helpful place for information...

You have a case and a keyboard??? Tell you what, Go out, look up some information on available hardware, select what you think you want, post that in maybe the CPU or Motherboard section, and let us all flame you for your retarded picks.

How does that sound? If thats too hard, tell you what...Send me a money order for whatever you were willing to spend on a PC and I'll send you a computer.

Spec:
Intel P4 2.4B
MSI 645E Max-U Mobo
1GB DDR333
R9600XT 128MB
SB Live 5.1
WD 60GB
Maxtor 120GB
LG DVD+-R/RW
WIN2K PRO SP4

While your friend may have had a bad experience, newegg has one of the highest feedback ratings on resellerratings.com so I would assume it was a fluke. I've ordered from them with no problems.

What kind of "customer support" are you looking for? Let's put it this say, no they cannot tell you the difference between nforce 3 250 and 250Gb. They are a warehouse company!!! It's like you trying to ask Costco if they can help you on fixing Windows XP just because they sell Windows XP. If you have issues with a certain product they sell, you are best off calling up the individual companies of your parts and talking to their tech people. But yeah, if you call Newegg, you would only get salespeople and not technicians.

Do your research online before you buy from Newegg.

silly journeyman, the difference is that once's a hard drive and the other's a number.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Silly fixture, he wasn't asking what the difference was, he was making a statement.

250Gb, though, that's not a very big drive these days.

Not long now, probably. Hell, my drive only cost 70 bucks and it's two and a half times the size of a 250Gb, though. Progress is good.

Man, I was wondering if anybody picked up on that yet. The capitalization that has been getting used. (at least intentionally by me, don't know about IronHell) Gb.

Really? What's a 250Gb (or GB, if that's what he meant) motherboard? Looked to me like he was saying they couldn't tell the difference between a motherboard and a hard drive.

I'm so proud of you! I'd give you a gold star if I had any. Fresh out, though. Sorry, dude.

*golf clap*

But hey, I was talking to DH about drives, you/Ironhell talk about boards or whatever you want. Doesn't matter to me.
