Does any one knows intel has solved the thermal issue and finaly using quality paste on their newer ivy cpus ?
If yes has anyone noticed any change due to this on their K series?
I hadn't heard of any new Ivy Bridge CPU's, but I just looked it up and I'm guessing you're talking about Ivy Bridge-E?
It say's production has been delayed or something, but I wouldn't make any speculations or statements now untill it is fully released.

You mean to say Haswell? I have Ivy Bridge and they have no issues whatsoever. Intel had issues with Sandy Bridge and seem to have issues with Haswell USB3 controller. So I would wait until they come out with better controller before grabbing Haswell.

I believe Ivy Bridge CPUs are still manufactured with the same thermal compound as at release. It really has not proven to be a big issue overall though except Ivy chips will generally not overclock quite as high as Sandy Bridge chips did. This is offset by Ivy being 7-8% faster clock for clock than Sandy. You can always use a higher end cooler or even replace the stock compound if you are comfortable voiding the warranty. An Ivy chip in the 4.2Ghz - 4.4Ghz range is plenty of power for just about everyone though.
