Newer or older Graphic card???

Hi ! I have AMD Athlon dual core 4400+ 2.31 GHz and i have 1.75 GB ( 2GB) of RAM and nvidia geforce 7025 graphic card. I wanted to know what is better : to put GeForce GT 610 or GeForce 9600 GT ??? Which card is better for my PC ( can my CPU run this graphic cards ) ?? GT 610 is newer so i am afraid of that graphic card cause i have old processor , so i think its better to put the older graphic card ( 9600 GT ) What do u think ??

What for? Gaming? The GT 610 is not a gaming card, it is a card simply for a 2D display. Is there a legitimate reason to get a new card? Everything in your system is old and could use a major boost.

I know that everythink is old on my PC and thats why i think with GT 9600 i wont lag on the games i lag now with geforce 7025 I need to know can my processor ( year 2008 and the GT 9600 is year 2008 ) make the GT 9600 run??

Yes for games but not for the newest games and i play on the lowest graphic settings!!!

what do u think ?? should i buy the older graphic card ( 9600 GT which asks for recommended processor :Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz ) or GT 610 ( which asks for recomented processor : Intel Celeron G550 2.6GH ) What do u think ???

Both graphics cards are not for gaming but if you really want to buy go for gt 610. Its better than gt9600. Can you give me more details of your config and your budget so i can assist you more precisely.

my budget is 60$ I don't want gaming card i just don't want my games to lag! ) I have an old processor so i am not sure is my processor good enoguht for the graphic card ( I don't know which graphic card you prefer more- GT 610 which is newer or 9600 GT its older and both graphic cards asks for diferente processors ). I just want to be able to play the games (on the lowest graphic settings) and i have 2 GB ( 1.75 GB RAM ).For example Transformers- the game.I have XP
