Question Newest CPU upgrade possible for MSI 2AEO?

My wife has an old HP-P71414, with an "MSI-2AEO" motherboard. CPU: AMD A8-5500 (3.2ghz). As no one was really using it anymore, I've decided to tool around with it out of boredom. I threw the max of 16 gbytes of RAM in, and threw a spare Radeon RX560 in it, but of course the GPU is being bottle-necked by the CPU. Just wondering, before I waste anymore time with it, if a decent enough CPU upgrade to make it worthwhile is even possible with this board? I realize I might need to mess with the BIOS, so I'm looking for the most recent CPU possible for this older motherboard.

Benchmarks show mild gain over your present processor with A10-5800K . Both are fairly weak compared to other CPUs. Using the wrong speed memory will contribute to a slower system.
