newest ROG mobo?

that one looks good, buton of the main features is the crosslink--which breaks down 2 pcix16 to x8 speed.

If you want something that will be good to run two ati vid cards in xfire look at the x38 offerings as they have more bandwidth than the p35. Meaning, the x38 can run 2 vid cards in ful x16 lanes--and it support 2X the bandwidth with pci-e 2.0.

i recently bought the asus maximus formula and its pretty sweet. (its of the ROG series).

just my 2 cents

If you are planning a crossfire setup, then a Blitz board would be the best choice of the P35 boards, but as echofoxtrot posted, X38 is really designed to be the high-end chipset. The Blitz Extreme uses DDR3, which offers very little benefit over DDR2 at much higher price premiums. The Blitz Formula is basically the same board, but with support for DDR2 instead of DDR3, which isn't going to sacrifice much performance, but save a lot of cash. If you don't plan on crossfire, then I would look at Asus other high-end P35 boards. Sure you don't get the ROG special features(most of which are useless imho), but you also dodge the ROG price premium. The P5K-E Wifi and P5K-Deluxe Wifi are both great board for overclocking and have the Wifi-AP built in.
