Newly Build PC wont start

Hi, followed the guide carefully PC wont turn on when i hit power button. No motherboard led on, no drive lights but the GPU power light is on but obviously doesn't start when tuned on. pls halp

MOtherboard - asrock z270 Pro4
GPU - gforce 1060 6g
CPU - 7600k intel i5
ssd and disk drives (1 each)
corsair HX850W power pack

Hi, Can you post a picture of the board, graphics card removed?

Try removing all wires but 24 and 8 pin power cables, cpu cooler and power switch. No other wires. Test again.

it made turn on noise and lights are on at the front + heard disk tun on

However, if connecting the monitor to the motherboard, are you getting signal?

Ok so when i did that i got a signal to that setup thing. I turned pc of and reconnected everythin and now it turned on but there is no signal

yeah did that now its working but nothing i am now pluggin into the motherboard works e.g. mouse and keyboard when they were before

they are powered however as the light are on

When i plug the mouse and keyboard in to the motherboard they dont work bu the light on them are on

yes im on the desktop screen

tried that didnt work either

Try clearing the CMOS (unplug the power cord and remove the CMOS battery for a minute). If still the same, it might be a board issue.

i did that and the setup page came up again which the moue was working on. But then when windows loaded and i was back on the desktop screen the mouse wasnt working. Thankyou for all the help so far as well

Then try reinstalling Windows.
