I have just built my first computer
AMD FX-9590 4.7GHz 8-Core OEM/Tray Processor
ASRock 990FX Extreme6 ATX AM3+ Motherboard
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB GAMING X Video Card
I was messing around personalize everything and had no trouble, then when I tried to download MATLAB it hard froze and I had to unplug to restart. I have run the windows memory test and done the intel burn test.
When I did the burn test my computer froze again, does that mean my processor is overheating?
When I was sitting idle in BIOS the temperature of my cpu was 84C.
I did have trouble mounting my heatsink/applying thermal paste, should i clean it and reapply?
