Newly built computer repeatedly turning on and off!

Hello,

I finished building my new computer today, and when I went to power it on, the computer, along with its lights and fans, all turned on. However, after a few seconds, everything turns off, stays off for a few more seconds, then turns back on. Once it turns itself back on, it keeps going, but flickers off for a less than a second every few seconds. Nothing has shown up on my monitor. I have tried to use my Clear CMOS button, as well as use a jumper to reset it, and neither have worked. I have also reseated the RAM sticks, but also to no avail. Not sure what other things to do and options that I have. I think everything is plugged in correctly and firmly, but if there are any suggestions, I will gladly take a look at the area(s).

That could be caused by your memory settings, DRAM frequency, DRAM timings and DRAM voltage. Overclocking or not overclocking CPU also plays a part.

i7-8700K supported memory is DDR4-2666MHz. Many people overclock "k" CPUs and use faster memory.

How do I change these settings? I can’t access any settings from startup, so is there a way to manually set them?
