[SOLVED] Newly built gaming pc can’t run games

So I just built a new gaming pc and it was working fine until I tried playing COD bo4. The same pc runs it awfully. It takes forever to even register me clicking buttons in the game. I haven’t even been able to pay around because it runs so badly.
Not sure what’s wrong.

Spec:
Rtx GeForce 2070
I5 9600k
16 gb ram
Windows 10 64bit

Edit: misread, I thought only bo4 had issues.

fresh os install?
exact model of the ram?
cpu/gpu temp?

Is cod the only game tried?

Check back of pc and make sure the video cable is plugged into the graphics card and not the motherboard. Motherboard = slow graphics, using the cpu's graphics chip.

What motherboard is it?
What video cable are you using?
