Hello, recently built a PC with the following parts:

Managed to get it to boot and install the Windows 10 OS. Memory is connected, computer is picking up all the RAM. However, the headphone jack in my case's front panel is really screwed up. Whenever I plug any earbuds/headset inside, all I hear is static (as in, videos are playing on the computer and the sound settings are picking up noise, but all I hear is static.)

I unplugged and replugged the HD audio pins on the motherboard, since a replug solved earlier issues for me, but sadly not this time. :(

Front panel jack doesn't work. I plugged in a USB mic and a headset into that. Audio still doesn't work, but mic works fine, friend said he could hear me.

Any tips?

could be that you have to still enable the front panel audio detection in the motherboard sound app.
see this old linik:https://www.sevenforums.com/sound-audio/47515-realtek-front-panel-audio-mic-not-recognised.html

there can also be a bios setting to enable the front panel audio

I just updated with new info. Is this still a front panel issue? I'll try this once I get a chance.
