Newly built pc no display

Just bought a rig with z97 pc mate and msi gtx 970 without OS

They built it and showed me that it POST (with display)

I dunno what type of display did they connect it to.

but right now i tried to connect:
1. analog vga connector to motherboard - no display
2. hdmi to gpu hdmi - no display
3. DVI-I to vga adapter from msi gtx 970 is broken(has several blank pins) so it didnt work

I would like to know how can I make the motherboard's analog vga to work?

Remove the GTX 970 from the computer and try to connect to the mobo's connector(s).
