Newly built PC not booting at all, led blinks for a moment

Hey,

So I (and for the record, I'm a complete newbie in this) tried to assemble my PC today, following all the manuals and guides I could find, but it won't boot. I followed the steps mentioned in the sticky above, also without result. The only 'clue' I have is that the led will sometimes blink momentarily when I press the power button, but this only happens rarely, I think usually after reconnecting the power cable or the ATX 24 pin connector.

Do you guys have any idea?

I think the motherboard connector it's not well inserted. That could be the problem too
