Question Newly built pc nothing shows up on the monitor

I recently built a pc and got everything running. The fans are spinning on the gpu and the cooling but when I try to get to the bios it just says no signal. I tried using an hdmi cord and a vga with no success. Also when I first turn it on it shuts off right away I don’t know if that is normal or not.
