Hello everyone! I have recently built my first PC and is exciting and awesome it was no display is showing up. Ive plugged a VGA and HDMI in motherboard and HDMI in graphics card with no luck. Everythings plugged in, everything to the best of my knowledge is put in the right place. (I followed a techsource video on youtube) Also my graphics card fan sounds like it runs then quits continually but I've read a lot of people say the fans only come on when its very hot.
My specs are
Processor - AMD ryzen 3 2200G 3.5 GHz Quad Core Processor

Motherboard - ASUS - TUF B450M-PLUS GAMING micro ATX AM4

Ram - 2 x 4 gig 8gig Ripjaws V series DDR4-2666

Storage - Patriot Burst 2.5" 240GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive

Video - PowerColor RED DRAGON Radeon RX 570 DirectX 12 AXRX 570 4GBD5-3DHD/OC 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support ATX

Thank you for any help that can be provided!

  1. Remove the rx570, use the AMD onboard iGPU from 2200g.
  2. Remove one of the RAM, use one stick only.
  3. read this from our site and try it out.
"No POST", "system won't boot", and "no video output" troubleshooting checklist https://forums.tomshardware.com/thr...ng-about-post-boot-no-video-problems.1285536/

And last, what PSU did you have?
I have a https://pcpartpicker.com/product/FQ648d/corsair-power-supply-cp9020101na

I did what you said and now I get the reset proper boot device i dont have an os installed yet is that the issue? I went into the bios and selected the patriot burst but still didnt boot

Reset the CMOS and try to boot at stock settings, system instability in Ryzen gives you a black screen. If that doesn’t work, your monitor might not be waking up. Try pressing the power button on the monitor, replugging the cable, and switching to a DisplayPort cable...
