Question Newly built PC won't do anything

I have an Asrock X570 pro4 mobo, two third gen Ryzen CPUs (for troubleshooting, both of them works in other builds) and an RX 5700. When I press the power button, nothing happens. Like, absolutely nothing. No leds, no fan spinning, nothing. What can I try to fix it?

Things I tried: power cables, front panel replugging.

Okay, I took it out of the case and tried to start it with minimal hardware + a screwdriver and still nothing

If the motherboard shorted, could it damage the other components?

Unlikely, but certainly a possibility
At this point, the only thing (to me ) that you can do is test the components in a different system

By removing the MOBO power cable while being plugged in, the fans turned on for a second. Maybe it is an issue with there being only an M.2 drive installed?
