Hi guys,
I recently built a new PC specifically for gaming and video editing, as you probably guessed, I was really excited to get it up and running, and I put everything together very carefully (this isn't my first build, but it's my first one with the specific parts that I used) over the course of about 6 hours with my dad.
Here's the parts list:
CPU: i7-4790K
Mobo: MSI Z97 G45 gaming
CPU cooler: Noctua NH-D14
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16gb 2133 mhz
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2tb
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 250gb
PSU: Corsair RM 850 watt Gold-certified power supply
Case: Corsair 750D Full Tower case
I'm not sure if that helps at all, but I would like to know if there's anything I could do to remedy this situation. Or if the parts are even compatible with each other, such as the i7-4790K and the Z97 chipset. (PCpartpicker said they were, but I'm not 100% sure)
Are there any common mistakes that I might have fallen prey to that could cause it to not turn on?
Are there any common remedies to this problem?
Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
