I just formatted a 1 TB drive that I removed from a relative's computer. Although my intent was to format the entire drive, and I did, there is still used space (128 Mb) so the whole drive capacity isn't available. I would like to give this drive away but I don't want my personal data to be on it when I do. How do I format 100% of the drive? I would attach an image of what I am looking at however this forum doesn't seem to allow me to do that. Thanks.

Format command formats only a partition it's applied to, a disk used for OS also has other hidden partition(s) so they have to be deleted too,
