[SOLVED] Newly loaded A.V. has slowed FireFox to a crawl.

Just installed Bitdefender Total Security after reading good reviews about it. Sadly the browsing in Firefox became a joke. Each page was taking forever to load. Uninstalled it and Firefox was was back to normal. I would like to use this A.V. but not whilst it wrecks browsing. Has anyone suffered the same and if so did you manage to resolve this issue? Thanks

You need to look at killing or adjusting the Secure browsing and Quickscan features. Both can have a big impact, For Quickscan you need the latest ActiveX plugins.
