CAN I HOOK A CHILL PLATE COOLING PAN TO MY LAPTOP IF IT OVER HEATS I HAVE A TOSHIBA QOSMIO X305-Q705

TAKE YOUR (sorry I left the Caps Lock key on) Take your laptop to a retailer and see if they have a cooler which fits it and doesn't block any vents.

For what it's worth, my nephew had an overheating laptop and the shop admitted that the cooling bases it sold didn't actually make any difference.

So you might ask for a demo.
