[SOLVED] Next GPU recommendation

Hello everyone. I"m rocking an i7-9700k with 16gb 3200 ddr4 ram and a 980ti, paired with a 1440p 144hz monitor, but i'm looking to upgrade. Looking at the gpu hierarchy here, you guys have the 1080ti above the 5700xt, which was the one i was looking to get. Would you guys recommend the 1080ti over the 5700xt for 1440p gaming?

Either would do fine but the 1080Ti is probably better

Well, GTX 1080 Ti is better than RX 5700XT, hence why it's ranked higher,

But for 1440p (2K) gaming, both GPUs will do just fine since they both are 4K gaming GPUs.
