NExt upgrade for my Gaming Box

Hey guys. Currently in my First PC i have this

AMD ATHLON X4 760K Oced to 4.5Ghz@1.5v
8GB RAM
GIGABYTE GA-F2-A75M-HD2
AMD RADEON R9 270X MSI GAMING 2G
EVGA 600B 80+ Bronze PSU

I recently changed out a HD7770 for the 270x. as of now the CPu runs 64 man Bf4 ok with a 31 FPS minimum. now im thinking what to get next. the budget will probably be around £250-300 at a push but wont happen for maybe 1.5-2.5 Months yet. so what shoudl i do? i was thinking a CPU/MB change but if i do that i need windows again as i bought Windows 7 Home premium 64 BIT OEM which is only validated to your first PC you install it to. so please help me

Well yeah, a motherboard/CPU upgrade is the obvious next step. I'd say save up a while longer so you can afford a more comprehensive upgrade. For example a Core i5 from Intel's Haswell Refresh or Broadwell release a few months from now.

yeah this was my next upgrade options i was thinking of

But with the AMD one i can buy windows again whereas the intel one i need to add it on so its like £70 more

The Intel build would be a bigger upgrade for gaming, but yeah it breaks the budget. That's why I suggested saving up for a little while longer.

Ok cool. sounds like a plan ill see how games use multithreading and stuff after when mantle comes out and other stuff. Best answer!
