Next upgrade from ryzen 3 1200?

To elaborate (had to go upload the images), consider the data I put together yesterday from Passmark and UserBench, versus their lowest prices from 'selected vendors*'.

* My selected vendors based on ones used in the past, and Amazon omitted, as their prices don't always match the PC PartPicker site's listed prices

Pay special attention to the green bars (bang per buck or BpB).

In my humble opinion, there would be no point in considering any CPU with bench scores lower than the 1500x, as the gains, and the BpB over your R3 1200 are minimal. I recommend either the 1500x, the 1600 or the 1600x, depending on your budget, your PSU, your CPU cooler and your graphics card.

The differences?

1500x - 4 cores, 65W, 3.5Ghz
1600 - 6 cores, 65W, 3.2Ghz
1600x - 6 cores, 95W, 3.6Ghz (no stock CPU cooler supplied)

Consider too if your current gfx card will be maxed out on any or all of them. No point in going to a 1600x if a 1500x will do the job.
