Currently my build is as follows

I5 2500K clocked at 4.5ghz
8gb 1600mhz DDR3 RAM
ASUS P8Z68-V-LX Motherboard
MSI 660 TI OC Power Edition GPU
120GB Crucial M3 SSD
1TB Samsung HDD
Antec Khuler H20 620
iiyama 1080p 24inch led monitor

This is what my build looks like as of now, I know it isnt outdated but ive had this build for around a year and a half despite the GPU upgrading from a 560 ti but im just wondering what would the next route be if there is a needed reason to do so.

Would it be Ivy which im abit sceptical about due to heat and moving onto a dead socket, or actualy consider buying haswell? or even further skip all of that and wait for skylake. Just need a little bit of insight and help on where to go next.

For the next upgrade building upwards on this machine I have around £700 to play with so I have a fair enough amount to work with. Main thing im looking at is the ability to sli due to the fact my current motherboard cannot.

Thanks for reading

Matt

I wouldn't do anything with your system; it will remain current for many years in terms of speed and features. Sli creates more heat and stresses the power supply. If your current fps is 50-60, I would leave it alone for now until the next game you play is bottlenecked.
