Specs:
ASRock H310M-HDV
Intel i3-8350k
TridentZ 2x8 3000 (16gb)
GTX 1050 ti Strix
Toshiba 1TB HDD
HP S600 120GB SSD
CX450 (2017)

I was thinking upgrading the mobo so it is capable to overclock the cpu. Also so i can use the full 3000mhz of the ram, currently max is 2666.

Another thought was if I get a 1TB SSD, I could do a fresh install of the computer, and ditch the old HDD. I have no problem reinstalling stuff. The reason behind this is because I’m currently fighting for space because both my storages are full. Thoughts on this? Is it hard to do? Is it logical to do?

Let me know what you think, also what parts do you recommend?

You would gain very little by overclocking that CPU, specially considering you have to change MB...

An SSD is always welcome although it would not improve game performance but it does make system more responsive.
I would think that your GPU is main bottleneck in that system.
