Nextbook Flexx 10 will not boot

My buddy is letting me look into his next book that will not boot. What it does is it shows nextbook logo after you press the power button, after that it flashes the windows 10 logo and then black screen. A cursor appears if you move the track pad but disappears soon after. It stays on the black screen indefinitely. I have tried to repair it, but no luck either, always fails. It cannot boot from usb either so I cannot reinstall windows that route either. Does anyone know if I can use a micro usb to female usb to boot windows to reinstall ? Or anyone else have any ideas ? Thank you.

Reset it. Did someone drop it?? Looks like that can happen if you do

my friend did not mention that he dropped it, but the screen works perfectly fine. It is in portrait view however, don't know if it is supposed to until it boots or not.

Let me attempt to reset it again and I'll post exactly what it says.

I have tried everything I could with no luck. In the settings it asks for admin privileges for some actions but from what i see, there are no admins added nor any other users. I think it may be a corrupted Windows install/update.
