I have bought a NEXTBOOK ARES 10 A and it for a while connected to my 40MHZ 2.4 GHZ network then stopped I had to shut it down to 20 MHZ and it works fine is it me or does the chinese made stuff gotten to be so crappy that I have no choice but to be a slave of them and do what they want us to do?! (DO NOT BUY THIS TABLET IT IS NOTHING BUT HEADACHES!!!) It hurts me to no end to see that everything has gotten so bad it is not worth buying. I have a NETGEAR R-6400...... All my other tablets connect with 40 MHz 2.4 GHz or my 80 MHz wide 1300 MBPS 5 GHz connection.... So I blame the Chinese made Nextbook. Walmart typical 10 dollar made tablet sold for 100 bucks. Greedy corporations. Is there any chance I can fix this?

Solution
If it is so bad you can actually yell the difference between 40MHz channel and 20MHz channel - hand it down / donate it, then buy something better (still made in China, though).
Another option is to get cheap router, use it as an AP (Access point) on another channel (possibly with hidden SSID), and connect that tablet to it.
