It is somewhat frustrating that here in Canada many people are buying their Nexus 7's in brick and mortar stores, while those of us that pre-ordered and paid $20 for shipping sit and wait with no word when they will arrive. We paid $20 for shipping while the people that didn't bother ordering get them with no shipping charges. Grrr.

And by the way, I am also one of those angry Google Play pre-order people.

I literally refreshed the Google Play store as they announced the tablet and bought it right away, but I get it a week after eBuyer and days after Gamestop walk ins. I will never pre-order from Google again.

That's nice for them, I'm in America, I per-ordered it from Google and still, it hasn't shipped. I had a friend who ordered it a few days after me, same model, same place, his has already shipped. I'm getting rather annoyed.

Bummer, I pre-ordered mine on the 14th so I will probably have to wait for the next batch.

If I see it on local stores' shelves before I receive my pre-order, I'll be pretty annoyed.

Some people have been notified of delays in shipping in the US.

Google's official word: standalone 8GB orders are shipped, standalone 16GB orders are delayed a couple days, etc.
