I have a pretty limited knowledge of computers and as far as motherboards go i barely know anything. I honestly have no idea what the different chipsets do. So my question is:

Is there any reason why I should spend $40 more to get the nforce 570 over a nforce 520?

If it has to do with overclocking, i don't do it, so it makes no difference to me. If it has to do with getting me a lot better fps I'll go with the 570, the computer I'm building is already under budget so the $40 isn't too big of a deal. If you could kindly give a short descrtiption of what the chipset even does i would appreciate it 😀

Here's the two mobo's I was comparing:

Thank you!

Why not go straight to the source?

Hit this link and click the Product Comparison Chart. AFAICT the only upsides to the 570 are 2 more SATA ports, 10/100 vs gigabit and RAID 5 support. These are all pretty high-end features most don't need, I say save your money.

EDIT: Only 2 RAM slots on the 520 board you linked, that may be an issue to you.
