Hello, I've been having problems with my PC hard freezing with Windows 10. After talking with someone on the windows 10 help forums, they told me that the reason Windows 10 was hard freezing 1-5 mins after startup was because of an old nforce Nvidia driver. He told me to update the driver but as far as I can tell there isn't a newer driver. Because of the crashes I haven't been able to use my computer for over a month. Any help would be awesome. Here is the link to the original thread.

Hi Andrew :)

Go to Device Manager and open Display adapter. You then have the option to Uninstall the current driver.
Uninstall the current driver, reboot your system.
Obtain the latest driver from NVIDIA or your GPU manufacturers web site.
Install the new driver, reboot and you should be good to go.

If no good then report your findings for troubleshooting.
