Hi
I downloaded NFS: Most Wanted Black Edition few days back here. I installed it today.
When I opened it, it was weird. Like in this screenshot.
I tried the fix where I found here.
It didn't work. It crashed the game after loading my profile, and showed this message.
.
What has happened?
How Do I fix it?
-Thanks!

Solution
Did you go into the ini file and edit it to the widescreen res you're attempting to use?

By default, the file looks like this, it's in the scripts folder (NFSMostWanted.WidescreenFix.ini):

[MAIN]
ResX = 0
ResY = 0
FixHUD = 1
FixFOV = 1
Xbox360Scaling = 1 // Makes 3D image scaling match xbox 360 version. Use with FixFOV = 1.
HudWidescreenMode = 1 // Enables native widescreen support for HUD(with minimum 16:9 resolution). Use with HudFix = 1.
FMVWidescreenMode = 1 // Cutscenes and movies will be fullscreen.

[MISC]
ShadowsRes = 4096
ShadowsFix = 1 // Dynamic shadow fix that stops them from disappearing when going into tunnels, under bridges etc.
RearviewMirrorFix = 1 // Rearview mirror for all camera views...

CustomUserFilesDirectoryInGameDir = 0
// user files will be stored in a specified directory, for example - '.\save' (don't use quotes)

If you want to play in 1080p, you need to edit it to...

[MAIN]
ResX = 1920
ResY = 1080
